A Noiseless, Patient Spider
by Walt Whitman

Our Story
Ben has lived and breathed technology for the past 12 years since he left college for his first job at Google. He has seen all the wonderful things that came from technology and the sheer abundance of valuable information available to everyone, everywhere.
He has also seen some of the excesses of technology. He worked on the advertising data sharing infrastructure at Google, Policy and fraud at Twitter, Google's Ad Exchange and their response to GDPR. He has been addicted to his smart phone and seen surveillance by government and corporations rise to a concerning level.
Inspired by Walt Whitman's perfect description of reaching out for connection over vast spaces, Ben enlisted the help of a noiseless, patient spider and started this blog to explore how we can thrive on the world wide web.
